That’s my problem, I do. I’m old enough to know better but I’m a heart on the sleeve type. Too emotional but it’s late in the day to change ;)

Were they really singing that? I’m glad I didn’t end up going, last thing I’d want is to get into a row with a fellow red but I couldn’t sit quiet & listen to that.

I think a big problem is many teams sit back at Oakwell & look to play on the counter attack.

I think the lack of any wingers or dribblers at the club is evident when trying to break down a packed defence.

Aye, in the first half - not really what you want to hear in the run in to the play offs.

Felt bad when they were singing about Collins I was stood next to Collins young son today who plays for Barnsley academy along with my son . Didn’t know where to look when I heard this

Credit to his son though he was chanting Barnsley songs all game

    It's a real paradox though.

Why would you go through the trouble of laying out a load of money and going away from home to berate us at half time and want the manager out.

    It's genuinely weird to me.

Glad me managed to turn it round.

I am sure we all want the same thing yeah? So keep the negative opinions to the message board. It's bonkers people would shout stuff about the head coach even if they think it. Support him until the end of the season and let's give the management and players the support inside the stadiums that will hopefully get us up.

These lads and lasses go all over the Country following the Reds through thick and thin so I won’t be having a pop at them if they voice their frustration.
The worrying thing for the Club is what they were chanting. It went beyond frustration at another inept performance. In all my time watching Barnsley I’ve heard a lot of disquiet but I’ve never heard the chant today directed at any previous Coach. “Neil Collins - your football is sh|te.”. And the thing is, play offs or not, record away wins or not, it is poor to say the least - and has been for large parts of the season.

Gutted not to be there today.

On the bright side the meal in Desford was excellent, Pesto at the White Horse. Sort of Italian Tapas. Various dishes for between £4.50 and £6.50 and you'd need 2 or 3 such dishes each - 5 between a couple is enough. Can't recommend it enough to be honest.

Could be anything to do with the toxic abuse shouted from the stands at young boys trying their hardest to progress their careers.
Let's face it ,there's some right abuse shouted.

Those behind the goal. Started singing to us in the stand. "Give us a song" at 1-1 We duly obliged.
"Walking in a Collins wonder land" They were totally bemused and sang over us lol. They did ask. :)
