Mine too. Was going to comment similar on twitter, but thought I'd message instead because I didn't want a barrage of nobheads abusing me for saying such. But can't seem to message her so I assume she's turned messages off, hopefully not due to abuse.
Agree 100%. Hopefully JAQ can see that the actions of a few keyboard warriors (who's she's probably already got blocked) aren't representative of the fanbase. I can pretty much guarantee that none of these trolls have opted to engage with the club in a meaningful way via the Fans Advisory Group currently in the process of being set up.
Genuine criticism would be fine, without the abuse. But some of it is just downright lies. Not supporting/backing the club, especially financially, is complete ********. People know this but still use it to bash them with.
Agreed here too, no excuse for such vile online abuse and it's about time that social media users were made identifiable. Free speech is not equal to hate speech.
You have my backing JAQ. I don`t really understand where all this self entitled nonsense has come from. Unless you support the prevailing PL Champions or Champion League Winners there will always be testing times that hurt and give disappointment. Surely times like that just make the cup runs or play-off promotions that much sweeter. As for abusing the people trying to deliver that (successfully or not) it just beggars belief.
I'd be removed for hate speech straight away because I'd be calling Rishi a lovely person* every day It is a scary thing allowing government to moderate online speech, because you never know if we're going to get another Thatcher. Would love for the club to identify some of these muppets and ban them though - absolutely no need to be vile. I just can't picture putting money into something consistently, trying to make it work, and instead of receiving constructive criticism/support, getting downright abuse, especially when 99% of the things they're pissing and moaning about is outside my control. There's plenty of worse owners out there and I think we need to be careful. People making out like we're being relegated to league 2 after every result which isn't a win. It's mind-boggling the abuse & overreaction. We are not Man City.
I haven’t read any of the rubbish abuse that is being referred to, but I support the board entirely. We have ups and downs in a season and nobody likes the downs, but there is no need for abuse. The point that people are missing is that everyone is doing their best to make the club successful and stamping your feet and lashing out isn’t good for anybody.
A page full of mugshots of the offenders in the matchday program would embarrass a few, but it also may be a badge of honor for some.
Easy enough to email the club directly to express disgust at social media treatment of JAQ I would think. To express that disgust and offer solidarity in such a way, would, if enough people did it, show that the morons are in the minority.
If we can gain momentum of this thread and @Gally share it with YT and JAQ. Add a BBS support poll to this thread aswell as the comments. Sometimes we have to stand up for what's right and the BBS can do that as it has a voice.
Not on X so don’t know what trouble her mouth has got her in but I’m not a fan, that said in a weird way she could be entertaining in a way like Trump was initially upsetting folk with bizarre comments until full blown batsh1t mental took over( probably always was). In her position she should have some business acumen to button it instead of pouring petrol on the fire.
