Finished watching the 3 part drama at the weekend…….I’ll be honest it was an hard watch, the first episode took my anxiety through the roof. A think what really struck home was that whilst it was only a drama series every part of it will have actually happened, the pain and suffering some felt on there own was truly heartbreaking……. What those nurses and doctors went through and experienced will sadly stop with them forever, whilst the government made catastrophic errors they weren’t the only country to do so around the world, the world wasn’t prepared for the event! To all those out there that said it was a hoax then shame on you……..4 years today marks the day that a guy that I knew who was fine until he caught covid and sadly passed away……. RIP Daz
A few watched it on here.... https://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/breathtaking-itv.328356/ It was such a good watch and should win awards.
Hard watching , tough times for the junior doctors and NHS staff, pay rise would be better than the chuffing clapping. Boris is way out of depth ,beggars beliefs his attitude.
Jesus tough watch ,binge watched all 3 . Must view for all to see exactly what those NHS staff went through.
Usually a drama series you take with a pinch of salt but this you knew that every scene will have take place and times over too
I watched it when it first aired. Everyone should be made to watch it. Especially the doubters. One of my close relatives passed away this year. Long covid a contribution. The Husband is still suffering symptoms of long covid. It ain't over yet mate.
I've just finished watching Love/hate on itvX. Very good. I was sick of the frequency of the advertising, including an ad to pay for it ad free. I'll try to avoid it from now on. My dad passed away from covid while in care home. So I'm not keen to see that.
Got to agree ,frustrating you can't fast forward the ads on ITV X. Don't think you need to be reminded about your Dad ,by re living it watching this programme.
It might be a TV drama but is based on the actual experience of a hospital doctor and staff of the department she worked in.
I thought after this series we would see an outpouring of anger similar to that after Mr Bates and the post office. Unfortunately this hasn't happened. True about ITVX though, we have started watching more and more on there, we've toyed with the idea of paying for premium but it feels like blackmail because the adverts seem a lot more intrusive than on ITV. So we don't pay.
