Told the club he’s leaving come EOS like Devante so neither are being played. What an absolute mess we’ve left ourselves in. PS; over and out….
Think it was mentioned Saturday. Both rumoured to be off to clubs we ‘could’ be facing next season. Same with Williams.
Hardly surprising is it. They clearly didn’t want to be here at the start of the season, & got the lip on when their best mate Kitching got his move & they didn’t. Kanes attitude has been appalling, Cole is an enigma, & Williams is long overdue leaving. We need to start a new era at the club.
Only one of them. All three done well over the last few years but the moves they were offered last year were much more attractive. Especially Herbie Kane.
Jordan Williams lives in Almondbury, his Mrs has recently had a baby, wouldn't surprise me at all if he signs for Town.
Something that seems really consistent in recent years is that at least half the squad seem to hate playing for us to the point that it begins to feel like they’re being held prisoner even if they’re (in my opinion) not actually any better than our club and our level. I’ve spoken to friends that support other clubs and they don’t seem to have much experience at all beyond the odd player being a diva or someone clearly destined for big things. I can’t really figure out what the big issue is, but I’m sick of watching players that don’t care and can’t wait for a “big” move to some club that’s historically no bigger or more successful than us. What is it? Atmosphere in the stadium? Training facilities? Living in the town itself? Some issues with the behind the scenes operation? I just find it bizarre that these players can put in no effort week after week, play badly and look livid as though they’re doing us a favour even turning up. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed we seem to have a higher than average number of “hostage” players?
Think it's nailed on mate. Jordan's parents live in Meltham and his lasse's family are also close by so it would make sense. He will get a decent signing on fee and will likely earn more than he is at BFC irrespective of what division Huddersfield end up in.
