Season ticket holders with zero loyalty points can't buy until Friday and over half have gone in three days. General sale on Monday and should be gone by the end of the day.
I’ve all on mustering enthusiasm to go to last two home games and as much as I’ve had done good times in Blackpool it’s dive, I’ve given up on play offs anorl! think we’ll stay in them given in by 6 and other teams only have 9 to play for but my god it’s been grim since we decided to sit back after HT against Bolton.
I guess so, would nice to sell out, get an additional allocation to take us to 2.5 k... mek a lorra noise and get a most unexpected win.
I reckon you are spot on with most. Don't know why some return and expect to see Vegas. The sea front parade is one of the most improved if not the most improved in the country. The Arcades on the prom, are the same as they are, everywhere you go. It has more to offer families who want a good time. If you want quiet or more relaxing. go up north or south of the piers. It has loads to offer on the outskirts of town. Give me Blackpool over Windermere for example anytime. Grass and Watter and boring walks. Most resorts around Yorkshire are fine. But I couldn't stick a week without having to drive to resorts close by to break the boredom. Tin hat ready. .
My son keeps pestering me to go but the 10hr 520 mile round trip does not follow me with any enthusiasm
Last 2 occasions I’ve been I’ve been for football. That has involved railway stations and back streets as well as the awful tat on the sea front with views of brown sea. People pissing in the streets in broad daylight, people fighting cos they can’t take their ale. People drinking in the street at 10am. Junkies approaching you for cigarette tab ends. Litter everywhere. It’s a complete sh:thole and gets worse every time I go.
Exactly how I saw it. The “glamour “ of the sea front strip hides a desperately run down town inhabited by low lifes who, as you say, pester people on the front as well. I doubt I will ever go near the place again
