    I would have thought that someone who, only last August, thought "There is no way on earth this team will finish in the play offs" would now judge our manager as some kind of super hero for taking that bunch of no hopers to the brink of the play-offs.

    you’re conflating two posts here, slightly unfairly….

    my post about stones is totally unrelated to Collins. He’s going to be paying for a good 6/7 years more at least, by which time history tells us Collins won’t be here. I do think that we (the Board) should be having conversations with him about coaching badges and so on. Absolutely nothing to do with Collins.

    Turning to Collins, you must have read a few of my posts in recent months : I’ve given him loads of credit. I still don’t enjoy his football but think he’s done a good job with a difficult hand. I’ve called out loads of people saying he should be sacked - I’m most certainly not conspiring against him.
