13 DAYS LEFT UNTIL EARLY BIRD DEADLINE Ticket News Our 24/25 Season Tickets are best-priced until April 25th Continue reading on the official site...
I’m stuck. Me and the boy don’t want to watch any more Collins ball. We’re bored sh1tless, win or lose. However. If they give him the boot I would 100% renew. But if the axe does fall at the end of the season the early bird has passed and I’m unwilling to pay the full amount! So it looks like picking and choosing our games next season. On the plus side it gives a chance to do a bit of ground hopping, get to a couple of rugby matches etc.
They really need to extend the early bird beyond the end of the season if they want to sell anywhere close to a reasonable number of tickets
I will not be renewing because: Saturday games postponed due to international call ups are rearranged midweek. I choose not to travel late at night so I do not attend midweek games. I am finding the journey onerous due to my age. I am currently unable to walk any distance due to a back problem. I will still attend home and away but without an ST it will take the pressure off attending every Saturday game.
Exactly. I’ve renewed but I bet there’s loads that haven’t, hence why they’re not letting on about numbers to date. There has to be an extension.
Seems odd to penalise people by making them pay more for waiting to see if we get promoted or keep Collins.
I'm all for the deadline. Cuts the wheat from the chaff. It's the same every year though. People not willing to pledge early support if we don't get promoted, but still want the same price if we do. Then you have people saying they're not renewing unless we sign a/b/c, or they're only renewing if we get rid of x/y/z. If you want to renew, renew. If you don't, don't. Every year people claim we will take a massive hit on season ticket sales, and every year they're wrong.
I'm currently weighing up whether I can face going to the Reading game, which isn't the greatest place from which to be thinking about a season ticket renewal with a deadline in less than 2 weeks. The price increase from last season is already 'too much', in my view, so there's no prospect that I'll pay any more than the early bird price. I'm starting to feel very time-pressured on this, more so than in previous seasons.
We are ahead of what was sold at this point last year. I suspect there might be a big jump in price when this ends. At least that was the impression I got (could be wrong)
Ditto (me). I changed my mind last summer and ended up paying full price. Not sure I will this time though. Ticket bought pressure? I can live without that
Undecided, baby due imminently so not sure i can justify the expense or time that it takes out of weekends as i don't live locally. Guess that might make me part of the chaff.
Possibly the slightly earlier deadline this year having an effect, compared to last? It ran into early May last season, looking back at the emails sent at the time.
We average around 8.5 to 9k season tickets in league one,I would imagine next season will be no different.
