That Brian Harman scorecard is a thing of beauty. 2 under front 9 and then 11 (eleven!) over coming back. Probably reading too much into that (and a few others that collapsed when returning this morning like Dustin Johnson who is one of the 4 I backed…) but I wonder if the course will play harder from here on. The storms early on Thursday will have softened the course up but I wonder if it’s playing harder and quicker from here on.
They mentioned something about using the moisture extractor from here on in, so the expectation is that the course and especially the greens, will be faster from now on
That would make sense. For Harman’s 7 on 13 he had a wedge into the green as his third shot and hit the back of the green but span all the way back into the creek. Should be an interesting watch. Hopefully one of us on here has picked a winner out!
Gesture of goodwill what rubbish. Their own rules don't state dead heat applies on a Super Boost. The clearly said top 20 finish and he got it. They were looking for loopholes.
Besides the Open, this is my favourite major because of so many intricacies with the greens and the weather etc. Isn’t it just so great seeing the ball spinning back ? I must have tried thousands of times without success
I’d agree, those 2 are my favourite majors. I love Augusta. I would say I’d love to play it but wouldn’t want to hack it up so I’d take a walk round the sacred grounds.
Nick Faldo's aged a bit. I actually wondered last week if him and the likes of Sandy Lyle would still play as invited former winners.
Yep, settled in for the night now. Lost Hovland and Johnson to the cut. Matsuyama I went each way and skybet pay up to 8th but don’t think that’s achievable either. Got Scheffler but not going to win much as I think it was 4-1.
I've got 3 places on Homa at 110/1 and 8 places on Morikawa at 40s. 1/5th odds for places. Homa was boosted too.
