On the downside they are losing thousands of pounds. On the positive side, at least they bothered to email back
What response did you expect? “Hi mate, Sorry we didn’t realise Barnsley wanted more. Thanks for letting us know and because of this we’ll give you some to sell. Can’t sell them through the club though because the club didn’t ask for more so you’ll have to sell them all yourself”
How do you know club didn’t ask for more, and if they didn’t it might be because they were told from the start that the current allocation number was final. Also your reply seems to have a tone towards the o/p
The ‘email’ was sarcastic. I just think it’s silly for fans to be emailing away clubs asking for more tickets. Obnoxiously busy-body-y
Well the trouble I saw there last season was aided and abetted by the Police. They held their fans back at a gate, and made Barnsley fans walk right round to where the coaches were parked instead of the more direct route. As we reached the coaches they allowed the home fans to practically walk straight into the road where the coaches were parked, resulting in mayhem. They may as well have just let us walk the direct route and not held home fans back, same result.
I don’t know if Paul d’s email was sarcastic, you’d have to ask him that. Again, how do you know the club either didn’t ask for more tickets, or were told there was no more available?
They could have said... Hey Paul.D kid lol, sorry theres no more tickets, but we'll give you free donkey rides on the beach for the day. Or we'll let you have a free 2 hours at the Pleasure beach.
We got same amount tickets every other club in league received. May add Blackpool no say in it police restricted away tickets all season plus I believe its also due to safety of the stand
Neow apparently, it landed earlier pick some folk up, I must have seen the the return journey to drop them off.
