    Neither do I but The Queen's Gambit was pretty good on Netflix.

    I’m reading that right now. I’m glad I checked it before putting it on the shelves at school though (I didn’t even know it was on Netflix as I don’t have it). There’s a very inappropriate bit that has spoiled the whole book for me as it was so unnecessary and is too graphic to have in stock, especially considering her age! I don’t even want to post the quote here.

    I thought I wouldn't like it as I don't like chess, but it was all over the press so I gave in. Glad I did. Be interesting how similar the show is to the book. People usually find differences they don't like.

    It’s… weird. Strangely compelling although I don’t know why as none of the characters are particularly likeable and I don’t care about chess. I got this set of three of his books (it says series but The Hustler and The Color of Money are a series and The Queen’s Gambit is standalone) for £10.99.
