The sooner you get back on the path towards sobriety, the better. Remember, no one’s laughing with you. Just at you. alcohol really is the devil.
Quite right it really is the devil. But if that was an issue in this instance it’s hardly something to laugh about. Alcoholism is a horrible illness.
I was admitted to hospital on the 18th of March, for almost 3 weeks, so now I don't use alcohol , almost 2 months since I took as sip, feel better and can't see me using it again, so try again
Considering some of your history on here and controversial posts you're not in a position to say anything.
So to get this right, in a thread in which you accuse people of racism and bigotry you have described foreigners as an infestation of British football? You really are a ******* idiot
Good luck to them. In all likelihood we’ll be playing them, Stockport & Mansfield next season & I’m looking forward to all 3. They should all bring bigger crowds than the teams they’re replacing & are all northern sides. My nephew & mates kid couldn’t wait to tell me we’ll be playing Wrexham next season. They’ve definitely crossed over into the mainstream.
Interesting post this. I’ve always suspected one or two on here would be happy for the owners to bankroll the club to ‘success’, and bugger the risk, but there are several more than I thought. I wouldn’t even mind if there were some long lived success stories surrounding these small clubs, something to aspire to, but there isn’t really.
I do think what’s happening with Wrexham is a bit different tbf. Their owners aren’t bankrolling the club they’ve just opened up revenue streams due to them being the owners. Think most of the hate they get is just jealousy cos as far as i can see they’re not doing anything wrong and not doing anything overly risky. It’s totally different to Wigan/Reading etc.
Very interesting proposition for out of contract players ala Williams, Kane, Cole they pay above average wages for the level at chance to make yourself known round the world via the Disney Wrexham tv show.
Good point but doesn’t really matter how it’s different mate. Wealthy owners + small club are still the two main ingredients. Not sure about risk, but I’m sure the fans expectation will push for risk as they get higher up the league and their budget will grow. Just out of interest, how much does TV money make up their turnover?
Think calling it a kickback is very unfair. They’re getting paid to air a documentary about their club. Thats not a “kickback” it’s a legitimate revenue stream.
