Looks like we could be on a hiding to nothing.

No, best we can get is 2-2, or 3-2. We always ship two goals.

 

Portsmouth have only kept 5 clean sheets at home this season, that's the same as us. I think both sides will score.

 

A point will see Pompey promoted, whereas a Pompey win will win them the title, so surely they will be going for the win. Could be a long night.

 

To be fair I just don`t want us to get a towelling from them and have to watch their celebrations!

 

I'd say the chances of us keeping a clean sheet, on current form, are somewhat limited.

 

We will be totally destroyed, a cricket score.

 

There's no such thing as a free hit, is there. Not in our current position, and disappointing run of form.

 

I'd take a 0-0 draw but I don't believe our team is capable of a clean sheet at the moment, so we should (but probably won't) go for all-out attack and try to score at least as many as Portsmouth do and hope to get something out of the game.

 

Either we turn our poor form around and get a valuable draw, or a sneaky win, or we get turned over heavily & it is the last nail in the coffin for our confidence. It could go either way. It is the sharp end of the season. I can't see us winning the playoffs in any circumstances, unless there is a return of confidence, and even then it is an outside chance. Jalo has to feature for me, but more importantly we need to look like a defensive unit, instead of a basket case.
