On paper, lose 2-1. Gut says 3-0 loss. Either way, it’s a loss.

Not sure how this will go. Pompey will want to win the title so may push up more and leave gaps, not that we would expose them :D:D. 2-1 to the Reds

If Connell and Russell are both missing we will be very lightweight in the middle.

Can only see a defeat tonight to be honest.

I think we'll put in a good performance this evening. Obviously, they're a good team but I understand they like to play a possession style game and we usually play well against teams like this. They are also prone to the counter so I'm hoping this is something we can capitalise on. I'll stick my neck out now and go for a cheeky 1-2 victory with Jalo and lovely person* getting the goals though I'll not be putting a bet on until I see the line up.

With Connell and Russell missing I'd be tempted to play O'Keefe in midfield. He can get around a bit and get a foot in.
Only trouble with that is that either Cotter would have to play full back or McCart would have to come in at centre half.....

Amazed if this isn't a defeat. Pompey buzzing, big home crowd, Barnsley tippy-tappy and clueless for most of game. Should be about 4/5-0. Might get a goal through some lucky punt or a deflection off Cosgrove's shoulder but it should definitely be a Pompey win. Collins has already laid the groundwork for the potential defeat though and his probable next comments will be 'we knew it would be tough', 'Portsmouth are flying', 'we didnt get the rub of the green at the right time' and 'the lads did a lot of good things'.
N.B. Now watch Barnsley win 3-0!

Good side pompy...if they are half as good as their visit to oakwell earlier in the season....it will be a very easy night for them.
I was listening to their gaffer on talk sport this morning..where he told us he had tweaked the training oh and added 5 new players in January!
Very slick in their passing and overall play and with our current watch...I'll go 3 or 4 nil.

Can't see anything less than a 3 or 4-nil hiding tbh. Having said that I've just shelled out my £10 for iFollow, god knows why but there you go!

Imagine if Pompey lose it mentally, end up losing their last 3 games and dropping into the play offs. :D
