Supporting Israel as a state is essentially supporting genocide - and arguably other war crimes.

I feel for the innocent victims on both sides of this conflict, but Israel are not an innocent victim of Hamas in this, neither are Hamas innocent of course - no matter what U.K. (or US) mass media want to paint, Israel are as complicit in this as anyone - arguably more so.

The fact that people are summarily accused of antisemitism for merely speaking out against the barbaric actions of the Israeli state tells you all you need to know. I am neither antisemitic nor Islamaphobic. Both are fundamentally peaceful religions with very similar foundations and beliefs - both monotheistic with shared prophets etc.

My views (and I’d argue many others I’ve seen) have nothing whatsoever to do with religion. Just common decency and humanity. And yet if you don’t completely fall on one side or another you are tarred as racist. It’s completely bizarre. Almost as bizarre as the level of support the west affords Israel compared to that offered to Ukraine. Funny that.

 

If you do research it's the other side that "supports genocide" the Arabic population of Israel increases every year. I may have "flamed the fire" but if I made a pro Palestine post I doubt anyone would've said anything, I just wanted to bask in the welcoming and tolerance.

It is also quite brave (and somewhat foolish) to reference the multiculturalism and Islamic population within Israel given their treatment at the hands of even the general public currently - though I’m sure that isn’t widely reported in the us nor will it feature in your ‘research’.
