Not all substitutions will work out. Don't you think at least some of it is down to how weak our bench has been at times?
Listen you make substitutions when injuries happen, players are struggling, the game is going away from you and you need to try something different! With Collins last night he brought McCart & Jalo both who should be embarrassed about their performances and he weakened the team! A one off is excusable every single game is not so you can FACT all you want the blame lies solely with Collins get him gone.
But the objective facts point to a huge number of his substitutions having a positive impact on games. Personally, I find Collins's football painfully boring to watch, especially at home. I think that's a valid criticism. That doesn't mean I'm going to invent other stuff out of thin air, just to give me more ammunition to have a pop at him. That would be nuts.
Never said no substitute scores or assist but if you think the majority of his substitutions improve the team based on that stat which cannot be measured against anything? I could say the people he took off would have contributed more or he could have used unused subs who may have contributed more so it’s a nonsense.
Not if you are happy for that contribution to warrant a start ? I don’t you have to earn it, Watters has scored this season can’t recall everyone wanting him in the team.
