If we get a point deduction before the Northampton game. I thought it wouldn’t have made an initial difference as we would have been well in the play offs but how wrong. Still think it’ll be a suspended two pointer.
The season is 46 games.. if we fail to get into the play offs it will be deservedly so.. our home record says we are a mid-table side this season.. The old nutshell of poor recruitment last summer, so we have done it too ourselves
They'll be waiting to see whether it affects this season before deciding when to apply deductions. If we'd easily been in the playoffs and the deduction wouldn't have changed that, then it's no punishment so would be deferred until next season. As it stands it'll probably be applied as soon as the final whistle goes in the last game, and it will knock us out of playoffs, if we haven't blown it ourselves anyway. If we do blow it ourselves then the pts will come off next season, as again it will not be a punishment. That's my cynical view anyway, no idea if it's right, but wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
I doubt that would happen, just because of the complete chaos that would ensue as we inevitably appealed the punishment.
I don't think we'll get a points deduction, it's not that sort of offence. Birmingham had summat very similar and there was no mention of deducting points.
What we don't want is at full time after the final league game, we still don't know what situation we are in. We had the same issue the other season when we had to wait for the Wigan appeal.
