Kind of my point. You see it everywhere. People losing all sense of being a normal human being. I’d be mortified if I’d ever behaved like that.

Remember at Oakwell a few years ago, there was a young lad & lady with their kid, no older than maybe 7/8 year old sat one row in front of us, towards the end of the match, I forget who we were playing, we were in championship at time, the away fans started chanting cheerio cheerio cheerio as our fans left, and the cute little kid asked her mam 'why are they singing about cereal?' and it proper made me laugh. About 30 seconds later, 2 older women were leaving on my row, sticking twos up at away fans and shouting "fook off back home you noncey coonts". 2 completely different worlds in 30 seconds

A few years ago went with my kids to see a rubgy match, Hull fc v Hull kr, the Hull kr fans were singing their song ' when the red red robin comes bob bob bobbin along', to which the Hull fc fans replied 'shoot the b@*****'.
In the car on the way home my son (aged about 7 at the time) piped up, ' my favourite bit was when Rovers were singing their song and our fans sang...' 'oh no' I thought, ' I know whats coming' but to my relief he came out with 'was when our fans sang 'Scooby faster, Scooby faster'

One of the best rivalries in sport. I’m guessing from your username it’s a not a rivalry you will be particularly enjoying at the moment. I don’t have a horse in the race but really enjoy the games on tv.

Far too many of a younger generation aspire to be hooligans and look at it as cool, more and Pyros and kids dressed in black glorifying it

Do you think it's a football problem or a society thing in general.
Id say forty years of the 'liberal experiment' is coming home to roost.
They've never been told "NO" so they think they're bullet proof.. no consequences for your actions.. And if they do ever get called ou for their actions... It's not their fault and they become the victim
"Why are you picking on me mentality"
The beds been made..now lie in it..

Disagree entirely. I don't think it's anything to do with a liberal experiment. I think it's the consequence of a decade and a half of hatred in government. If the leaders of the government display and get away with such despicable behaviour then it encourages the idiots at home to do the same.

What liberal experiment would that be then? It's not as if football supporters in the 80s were saints, is it? It was much worse than it is now.

The majority of people are out for themselves at a younger age. Even those that weren't to start with change when they're corrupted by getting money for nothing. Too much money for nothing even in this age of austerity. Self entitled brats.

They're getting more for nothing than we ever were. There's a big difference in mentality.
