    Years gone by in our darkest times when the team was struggling or even getting battered the Ponty end always sang there hearts out with "we'll support you ever more".This season is luxury compared to some over the years.

    Genuinely think if we make the playoff final and lose there’s a decent chance he gets poached by a bottom half championship team or top league 1 team. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him go to Wednesday if they go down.

    You don’t know that. You’re thinking from a fans perspective.

    To the neutral he has done better than most of the managers in this league points wise, even better if he gets to the playoffs.

    Just because you don’t like him, doesn’t mean other clubs won’t fancy giving him a job.

    I don't think there's a chance in hell of that happening unless there's a team out there who looks solely at the league table and doesn't even take a cursory glance at anything else.

    I will be away in Germany next weekend but will keeping in touch with the score at Oakwell. Not expecting much if our recent form is owt to go on. I am afraid the headcoach is not a motivator and is not up to the task. However I hope the team give the crowd summat to cheer and not jeer. COYReds!

    It might be in his contract that he has to make playoffs otherwise we release him. Sack him now and have to pay him up or release him for free if we miss out. If we knew sacking him now guaranteed the playoffs then it might be worth the payment but it’s not 100% so the club won’t pay him up on a maybe.

    Just the away record this season could well be enough to get him a job somewhere else honestly.

    Seem.to be a fair few young British managers around at the moment. I don't think he's shone enough to stand out tbh. Definitely dint think a club would pay compo for him but might take a punt if he was free.
