Should be a big one but we've took 9 points from a possible 36 and fans are getting sick of the poor performances. Plus dinnertime kick off. 12k home fans and a few hundred from Northampton.
Tbh as a non ST holder I am struggling to get any enthusiasm for it. I’ll probably do something else. i think the club should get bums on seats whatever way they can (preferably via ST holders who have pledged their loyalty). Need a full ground shouting them on - sadly I probably won’t be there - but I think a few could be swayed with free/ cheap tickets. I’d be looking at each ST holder can access 2 free tickets or something on those lines.
Not a hope in hell. Even with what's at stake, I'm struggling to muster the enthusiasm for this one. I'll probably go as I don't like wasting my ST, but I certainly wouldn't be buying a ticket if I didn't have one.
Season ticket holder but the early kick off makes it nearly impossible to get to so I’ll be giving it a miss although fingers crossed I’m hoping there’s at least another home game i can go to.
People are genuinely angry, and have been for some time. I think a fair few will stay away in protest. The real issue is when the anger stops imo. What replaces the anger will be so much worse and even harder to recover from, apathy. I'm angry at the players and manager at the minute, but it's getting to the point where I'm not getting angry when we concede. I just let out a little chuckle out at how god awful we are. Anger and frustration and booing, despite what some people think, shows that people still very much care. Wait until the anger and frustration gives way to nothing at all in the stands.
https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2024/april/barnsley_general_sale/ Northampton were given 1,556 tickets but can request more.
Won’t draw extra fans in my opinion, if we’d struggled all season and had a chance of getting in if results were favourable then maybe.
So they can plan accordingly, safety stewards, catering etc. If they plan for the initial allocation and they don’t sell out, then they won’t need to call on extra resources. Thus not wasting money by over-staffing etc.
Id actually read it wrong. I thought it said they couldn’t request more than the initial 1556. Ignore me….
Personally, I’ve decided against going. It’s not because of the teams poor form, nor the manager and not the board either. In fact, the reason why I aren’t attending is the negativity in the stands and on here. It’s like a disease and I don’t want to infect my weekend with it. I’ll be much happier out hiking with no phone reception to check any off the dross that gets written on here. I wish the lads well and I hope the fans who do go don’t turn on any of the players or the manager even more. As always, youuu reds!
