Lovely bit of action. Wish we had a few like him. Our lads are too nice and nor ruthless enough to try and gain a competitive edge.
I know about the hands & arms for scoring but didn't know it also counted for playing players on or off.
Arms and hands don't count but shoulders do. Has to be a part of the body you can legally touch the ball with
That's what I meant - offside lines only marked against bits you can score with. Foot, knee, head, knob etc
My only wish now having seen Man U pox their way through is that city tonk them to such an extent that it's utterly embarrassing.
Wouldn't that technically be a penalty and if the ball went straight in it would technically be the referee playing advantage?
Just embarrassing all round from Utd. They were too embarrassed to even celebrate, as well they might be. The VAR call might have been 'right', by a mm, but football lost today.
What I've never got with VAR is if we giving offices by millimetres how can we certainly the exact frame when we have stopped the replay is when the ball started travelling forwards?
They should have a game ruling similar to what they have in cricket. Umpires call. If its that close then the original decision should stand.
Class? You mean like your opponent skying a penalty? Coventry were by far the stronger side as extra time wore on, and were a crossbar and then a marginal (correct) offside call away from a deserved win.
