Agree with that; it was toxic and awful and made me feel uncomfortable. I love Barnsley but didn’t enjoy the match in any respect.
The only situation that makes sense to me is that they don’t think the team will be able to win on saturday with the inevitable toxic atmosphere that would be in the stadium if he stayed.
Collins is in charge of the coaching though.if the other coaches aren't performing he can do sonething about it, doesn't work so well the other way round. As to losing the dressing room, the players get payed a fortune to play and I expect them to do so to the best of their ability no matter what they think of the manager!
I was looking the other day and in my humble opinion this is the worst squad since 13-14 and maybe even worse than that - and bearing in mind we were in championship that year - it’s just an awful squad. don’t get me wrong Collins may be an awful coach but the squad is really really poor
It’s obviously the right call. If he somehow got us over the line on Saturday we were going to get a hiding by Posh or Bolton anyway. And he would have been sacked then. Admittedly it’s a roll of the dice, but in my mind it’s a free hit. And Disco in charge Saturday will get the fans back on side, which can make a difference. And yes I will be renewing now
Something is lined up already I reckon. Would be surprised if an interim wasn't in place later this eve or tomorrow. Return of one of our former managers maybe or even Colin.
The next appointment whenever that is and summer recruitment will speak volumes about the owners .personally if Colin ain't coming in then I'd be on the phone to Hecky in the short term.
Can't agree with that mate, we're shocking at the moment, we have no direction on the pitch and the players don't look up for it. All down to him
