    Big shame that Pines got injured and ruled out for the season otherwise he would be in the back 3 with Williams at rwb.

    There were some very good players out of contract last summer well with our budget, we probably never as much gave them a second thought beacuase we wanted to sign young players who'd hopefully deliver a profit down the line.

    We had 11 shots against Blackpool, 10 against Stevenage, 17 against Cambridge...even getting hammered by Lincoln we had 14 shots.
    Today was the lowest total since we played Derby in February....in fact the only lower number was against Orient back in October with 6.

    Very poor side today, i doubt they would beat Bolton or who ever in the final. But if fortunate to get to the championship major surgery is required.

    Exactly. It’s not about building a team. It’s about trying to trade players at a profit, and it has finally caught up with us. I’d like to think it would change but it’s surely the only reason why the owners are here. They are in a bit of a bind as well because, without pumping additional funds into the club, they risk losing everything they’ve invested.

    With most teams using a data driven model the days of finding 4/5 gems for next to nothing are very much gone.
    It should always be about signing the best balanced squad with youth and experience that your budget allows and getting the right man in, using all his skills to set up a team to win games of football.

    It's very much not like that all

    Think that’s a bit unfair on him. Played some great through balls and put himself about in midfield, I remember at least 2 top tackles won.

    Agree with that. Was referring to Conway signing Oulare and Iseka on daft daft wages which was inexcusable.

    the loudest cheer of the match was when one of the useless berks on the pitch finally looked up and passed to cadden who had been stood for 80 minutes with his arms in the air
