New Manager/Coach

Sounds like Devaney has said in his post match conference that we will know one way or the other on Monday.

 

Here's hoping we get an actual manager in then.

He doesn't word it like someone who will go back to his old position.

Fed up and had enough probably with the current set up, lack of ambition and how the clubs being run in general..

 

Definitely need someone new in the door on Monday. A different voice / motivator and someone who may be able to come up with a miracle to get us past Bolton!

 

We definitely don't need a miracle to beat Bolton, just a plan that gets the best out of our quality players and makes them look cohesive will be a good start.

 

I do think a new voice could have an instant impact. Devaney and Stead is just more of the same. I like the fact we're away in the 2nd leg and hopefully if we're still in the tie at that point then there will be more pressure on Bolton. The problem we have is that we can't stop conceding goals!

 

We need a miracle for the play offs. Not enough time to change anything. Can’t believe how bad we actually were today. Couldn’t win a game against a mid table side with their flip flops on.
Right now I’m more concerned about what sort of side we’ll be putting out in L1 next season. We look a right mess. Don’t envy whoever is coming in to sort that lot out.

 

The manager isn’t the problem. They have no wingers or number 10’s. You’re basically stuck with the same system. It’s a failure in recruitment not management.

 

I think he would take the job if offered. He's a club legend I agree with you about how the club is been run signing players like Shaw and dallas doesn't scream ambition. Next few months will be interesting.

I agree mate and I honestly believe that attack will be our best form of defence in the playoffs but we need to be brave and find a way of doing it cohesively rather than long balls that bypass our quality players in midfield.

 

We might not need a miracle but we deffo need to play a hell of a lot better than we have over the last 10 games or it’s goodnight Vienna.

Yes so he basically replaces Phillips & then what? You don’t go to a 4-2-3-1 because we don’t have any wingers.

We were talking on the way to the ground today & all came to the conclusion that we didn’t know how he could change things & in the end he didn’t change anything.
