What about being brave,Roberts,Mdg and Earl in the middle.I'd play Williams as a deep lying defensive midfield centre cos he has pace and can tackle.Play Cotter and Cadden as wingers with no defensive or little responsibility(getting crosses in).Phillips,Connell and Kane in the middle then Cosgrove and Macatee.
If later in the game we need pace fetch on Jalo,Marsh and Cole in that order.

 

I was speaking to many today alot who said similar that the recruitment in the summer wasn't great dallas, watters and Shaw 3 players wasting a wage. The center backs not been good enough and the pines injury. But all said the same about the negativity in tactics and we never had a good enough defence to sit deep and defend a lead like Collins tried on many occasions. Also strong rumours that he had fall outs with more than one key player. I know your a big Collins fan and thought he was harshly done by but if you can't play a different formation organise the one you can play, I watched his football all season and I still couldn't say what Collins ball was.

 

Good idea mate let’s play our keeper at centre back.

I read it as he's not sure if he'll still be wanted at Oakwell as of next week. He goes on record as saying he loves the Club. That'll do for me.

 

I wouldn’t even consider myself as a fan of Collins. I don’t really have an opinion either way. I just don’t believe he had the options to change much. I don’t believe we have any other systems we can play successfully & I don’t believe we can play on the front foot because of the lack of pace at the pack.

 

All of them probably. Until the board change or tweak their strategy, it wont make a difference who we have as a HC.

I genuinely don’t think MD would pull up any trees if he was given the job as much as I like him. Equally, I don’t think the new guy will either.
