3 at the back went out of fashion a little before Patrick Cryne bought the club and didn't come back into fashion until after he'd sold it. I'm not saying we never had 3/5 at the back during his tenure, I'm sure we chucked an extra centre half in there occasionally, but it wasn't the preferred style of playing at any point.
Because it won't cost compensation and there will be a genuine lack of interest from anyone who knows the gig and how we operate.
I would like to think we get laughed out of any appeal and told to go have a good long look at ourselves. I don't actually think this was ever a thing. Pretty sure it was some kind of betting scam cos no one else has given any fuel to this name.
