So we sacked our manager with a plan to appoint a replacement and we hadn't bothered to check whether he would qualify for a work permit?
This is BFC, we're prone to regular **** ups, I think it's true. The guy was in Manchester last Monday as noted on his Instagram account. Coincidence or what!! What a ******* **** show to sack Collins and not even check the qualifying criteria of the proposed new head coach. The mnd ******* boggles
Look this is the facts. Admin and other members are also aware of this... Firstly I'm not a fan of Nixon. He's 50% right most times. However this time he was correct about Dominik. From the news breaking and Dominik posting on fb his airport pic to manchester. From that I looked Dominik up on fb and sent him a friend request. Not expecting to be accepted I was. I then text Dominik explaining I like his football philosophy. Dominik replied with kind words and appreciation. As a result all week we text discussing football and barnsley. This morning he was still praying the work permit appeal would come through however at tea time he text to say it had failed as wasn't sure why. He wishes Barnsley fc the best and hopes we are successful soon. So because Dominik is a nice guy and open I'm sure he will have been in conversation with Nixon. Other Barnsley fans have reached out to Dominik too and had nice conversations. So one thing for sure is Dominik certainly embraces fans making time for them even if his brief encounter with Barnsley didn't work out.
I don't know what's worse, the fact these clowns in charge thought this guy was the answer or the fact another administrative f**k up has occurred again. Obviously all speculation, but it wouldn't suprise you, that's the worrying thing.
You say that as though it's the gospel truth instead of something based on the ramblings of a shabby journalist and some eejit on here saying it's a done deal. Any chance we could leave the accusations until we have some cold, hard facts?
If the proposed Head Coach was unlikely to have gained a work permit was he, just like Marcus Schopp, expected to work with a coaching staff that didn't include staff he'd never worked with before? It's extremely unlikely any coaching staff he was bringing with him would have secured work permits.
