The ties had been then other way around.

I think there was a notion that we had limited them as they didn’t sell out their entire home ends either they have a capacity of 28k the attendance including our fans was a total of 23450. We would have definitely sold more with it being a Sat and us being much more on the up than this year. So I do think they played this card with us and we did the same.

Is it right no but don’t forget clubs are looking to use any competitive advantage they can get.

Yeah I get all that. That wasn't the question I asked though. You said it wasn't possible that the two Clubs could have pre-agreed the same number of away tickets. I was just asking why that wasn't possible - regardless of what people think about the number of tickets.

Ah, been a misunderstanding there Marc. I meant it's not possible for an agreement to have been made that wasn't petty.

    Last season.
    News article.

THE BOLTON NEWS understands that Wanderers chose to offer only the upper half of the South Stand to Barnsley’s travelling support for the first leg after being told what share they would be given for the return game on Friday, May 19.- It is understood they did request a bigger allocation.
    ------------------------------------------------------------
Thread on BBS from Superhiggy. At the time -:

Asked Kaled this morning while queuing for tickets about the away allocation,he said it was Barnsleys decision to limit away numbers after speaking with Duff.

It's no surprise, given the expectations for this set of games. They'll all eventually go, especially if we get any sort of result to take to the Toughsheet.

Can't see a crowd of more than 13k to be honest. Crap for a play off semi.
Weather forecast today won't help casual sales.

They will be gone tonight if we win. People are waiting to see if it's worth bothering.

Tickets for tonight haven't sold at all well. Looking at the map we could have shut the west stand to save money.

No other team fans would boycott a play off
