    If I'm right then he didn't. He took a punt and added/messaged him out of the blue abd he got a reply and spoke to him via messages after that. That's if I've understood it right

    Don't worry about it. Sometimes it comes to fruition, sometimes it's wide of the mark but in all cases it's posted with good intent.
    Don't let it upset you, don't try to prove things and most importantly don't be sharing your personal details.

    @Biddy37 just chill a bit mate. I don't think there was any malice in any of the responses (I haven't read them all like), it was just a bit of banter that mebbi got a bit annoying for ya. I've edited the posts I've seen, where you've shared your number - let me know if it's anywhere else floating about.

    What I will say though, is that doubling down on summat very rarely works on social media. You just end up with 10x the amount of grief coming back. Just take it on the chin and have a laugh about it.

    Anyone who has been on this site long enough know not to share "details". Cos as soon as you do you need to prove it or you are a bell end on a wind up.

    It's best not to bother. Legitimate or not, anyone who is supposedly ITK won't get time of day without photographical proof.

    It's just the way this site has evolved over the years along with the abuse someone who is being genuine gets.

    So, advice, keep it to yourself and don't bother. It's easier.
