I think he has it now, but I believe there is also an exceptions rule if someone else at the club also has the licence.
I'd be genuinely amazed if a Prem club appointed him, surprised if a Championship club went there too. They'll certainly be looking, but would want to see him cut his teeth lower down the EFL first, I'd imagine.
