Every week the same section of the ground so why does it have one steward hanging around in the area when the West stand upper tier has more? Is the club actually scared of the lovely person*s?

 

Took my 6 year old to the derby game, doesn’t want to come back as got scared at the scrapping/atmosphere after the match.

I’m massively in favour of increasing the banning orders to fans from all clubs. The worst part of it is they look pathetic offering each other out then backing off when someone gets close enough to throw a punch

 

I even saw members of this board throwing punches when it all kicked off in the Ponty end in the second half.

Name and shame

 

Get them named. Let the world see them for what they really are and get them banned off the BBs and banned from the football club because I am ashamed to share a board or a football club with people will behave as disgustingly as that

 

was a certain member famous for taking his shirt off each home game and bouncing about at the front of the ponty.

 

What happened?

 

Fighting in the same area of the stand as there is ALWAYS trouble in

 

Supposedly a Wednesday fan in the stand. Don't know whether that's true or not.

What confuses me is if you're a Wednesday fan why are going to the match and why would you make it known that you're a Wednesday fan given the animosity between the clubs?

 

Everytime there’s a scrap in the ground, the same excuse gets pulled.

 

Somebody got dragged out by the stewards. Looked as though everybody was trying to throw a punch at him on the way past.

 

Isn't this the excuse trotted out everytime fans start scrapping amongst themselves

 

And more importantly why should that result in being assaulted by a large group of men?

But most importantly of all do SYP always turn a blind eye to people getting beaten up? What about sex assaults? Do they stand by and watch that too? Disgraceful reaction from the club and the police. Zero response from anyone

 

It probably is, yeah.

I'm not condoning it. Stewards did nothing to intervene either. Waste of time them being there

 

The club love these "fans".

They sacked Collins because they chanted that time.

 

SYP were beyond useless tonight. Bolton fan making obscene chants and lashed out at a woman by the burger van, police did nothing, took a fan to intervene. Same guy then parades up and down the queue of people trying to get into the Ponte and making similar chants. Big SYP presence but did nothing until someone took his flag off him and then they moved in attribute blame on the Barnsley fans.

SYP will never change.

 

The stewards aren't interested in sorting them out and to be fair neither would I be for what they are paid. It's been like it for years they break seats take drugs are mostly pissed out of their heads threaten anybody who tries to stand up to them. The club should use the information they have at their disposal and prevent them buying tickets but they won't.

 

No news of arrests or statements condemning the behaviour yet.
