    Coles a scapegoat macatee did **** all but had his name sang. Cole took over the matle from.cic before him cavare...Thiam etc etc

    Macatee is bothered about us getting to Wembley. Cole just rolled around on the floor too much for me. His goals have got us to the play off places but he goes down way too easily.

    people sang Cole’s name when he was, erm, scoring goals.

    I think he’s been really poor since january and was totally ineffective tonight - albeit not assisted by the tactics

    Yes hard to be effective when the balls been booted long and doesn't suit your game. Williams has been poor would we cheer him if he was subbed?? No... no need.

    Cole never took to our fans. He doesn't particularly celebrate his goals with the fans and doesn't even acknowledge the fans when he gets subbed off.

    Felt for Cole tonight. Was no balls played in behind for him to cause trouble, was all pumped into that giant they had at back. We made that centre half look like a World Cup winner.

    Cole must’ve been frustrated tonight, but he kept trying to battle with the lad, a battle he was never going to win.

    The cheer was just weird I think.

    I disagree. I don't think he battled one bit. Their player isn't superman yet he didn't even attempt to win a single ball against him. He appears to have perfected the art of running towards a player and slowing up just before he gets there in order to not actually have to do owt.

    I think that's worked both ways tbh. He went in interviews and said his best times of his career have been here. I don't think barnsley fans have ever took to Cole.

    Felt like it was more a cheer for Cosgrove coming on as we were clearly pumping the ball to Santos’ head all game with nobody challenging him.

    He did battle though. He was never ever going to beat the lad in the air, so why did the full backs keep pumping it up to him?

    I’m not saying he had a good game though, far from it. Just tactically we didn’t suit him at all.

    It was stupid tactics but I honestly don't think he battled. I don't consider being stood next to someone as battling and that's what Cole does every week

    I know the view at the ground is different, but watching on tele he definitely did challenge. The problem is he had a man mountain behind him who dominated. Cold is a decent striker when he gets service, unfortunately he’s got bugger all service for months.
