Had to turn her Twitter profile private due to the abuse she was getting on social media tonight. This plus the usual fighting in the usual spot in the Ponty end plus the shower of bottles and objects getting thrown at the Bolton players when they scored means its not a fantastic look for us tonight. And the moronic cheering when Cole was subbed off, let's not forget that too.
Let's be honest, we've had that kind of behaviour on here since August. It's been disgusting, but people still want to claim it's their right to an opinion. I got that tonight while someone was calling me names. And he'll still go on and on and on and think he's right. And there's hundreds of them.
This past year I've really gone off our fans. Entitled, mouthy, relentlessly negative, hounding people on social media. Why anyone would want to run this club right now is beyond me.
Disgusting them. It really isn't difficult to give constructive criticism and opinions without getting offensive and personal. A small minority let the club down with how they behave.
It's disgustingly misogynistic. None of the other directors get anything like that abuse. I'm ashamed.
Is that a reference to me calling you a melodramatic pillock? Might have been a bit strong but I still think you’re chatting rubbish suggesting it’s me that has caused you to stop attending games and have been encouraging a toxic atmosphere at matches. I haven’t been abusive of the owners on Twitter or anywhere else. Nor have I been fighting in the ponty, chucking bottles at players, or engaged in any of the Neanderthalic behaviours of a not insignificant proportion of our fan base. But hey ho. I’m the same as them.
X/Twitter has always been full of idiots. People say whatever they like online without fear. It’s disgusting, but it says a lot about some of our ‘fans’ if they think it’s acceptable behaviour. Naturally, people are hurting and are angry, but some of those Tweets are vile.
No need for the abuse whatsoever but can’t help feel like this is a way for her to hide from the criticism. Its a shame because she’s the only one from club who is being held accountable and this shouldn’t have to happen.
Eventually, the abuse continues, JAQ & the board will just walk away and stop pumping in millions to keep it afloat. Then we'll see where we are at.
I didn't say caused, did I? I said helped. This is the quote: "You've helped ensure what brought us all together for almost half a century is no longer part of our lives." You may deny that too. Do you genuinely think I'm being disingenuous, or do you think my naked honesty about something that is so close to my life and my friends and my family is true? Think what you like, I am telling you what has happened. It's up to you whether you think that's worth considering or not.
That's on them. It's because of our board running us poorly that they have to put more cash in. It's been a **** show for years.
No, it isnt. Criticism is fine. Abuse is not. They've taken control of the board last season. Last season was almost perfect, a dodgy referee and last second goal denied that perfect start. This season its been tougher, after losing players far too good for this league, but we've still managed play offs.
