I don’t doubt for a second your reasons to not attend. What have I done personally that contributed to that though? You know what Jay, don’t bother. It doesn’t matter. We aren’t going to agree. That’s fine. I’m not going to put you on ignore. I usually enjoy your posts; generally well written and often eloquently putting across a viewpoint on the team or games which might differ to mine. Often do. I’ll continue to look out for your posts in that regard. But I reckon we ought to stop interacting directly. At least for a while. You are tarring me with something I honestly don’t see and can’t agree with; you are clearly not unreasonable but I’ve no wish to get into a slanging match on a football forum. Especially when I’m very likely to be writing and reacting emotionally with the disappointment of what we witnessed this season, particularly the back end of it and especially this evening - and the consequence of it. Enjoy your summer.
can I also add zero communication from our new CEO and DOF. These two guys are running the club and we have heard sweet FA from either of them. Youth players do interviews on IPlayer and we’ve appointed two key men who have yet to do an official interview. I can’t even remember their names. We were promised better communication.
That's a really nice post, thank you. Particularly as I'm aware I was being provocative. I wish you no ill will, the very opposite in fact. Strength and generosity can be very humbling traits when you encounter them, as I have just done.
It's a shame I could only like this once. Who gives a f cuk? I wish JAQ, Neerav and the Crynes all the best our hard earned can get them. No need to break it down more than that.
Yeah agree.. somethings going to happen here before too long.. if fans think it's been a struggle up to now then get ready you ain't seen nothing..
There is a long list of poor management issues. If we start with the previous owners we had issues with lots of things, the Miranda ‘non-signing’, fall outs with other clubs, poor signings, transfer day admin errors and we go on and on. The game day experience started to deteriorate. 1.5hrs to get home due to car park, no social scene, etc. fans toxicity starts increasing. Racial chanting and online keyboard bravery. New owners. Nothing changes. The issues perhaps get worse. EFL charge, thrown out of cup, nearly didnt play season opener a while ago due to HSE certification. Fans unrest gets worse. This club is going in the wrong direction. Fans are walking away. Owners seem inept and so called supporters embarrassing themselves and the club. Do we wonder why more people are keeping away? P.S. when will we see the supporters trust open letter to show disapproval of fans online behaviour to others? They seem quick when there is a statement to the board now what about to our fans?
The writing was on the wall for me in regards to the board when they kept Khaled on as CEO. Serial failure and incompetence from one man in such a senior role, any other successful business owner would have rectified that situation immediately. They didn't, and in turn the unprofessionalism and gaffs just kept coming. Its still happening but now not just off the field it is happening on the field. They will run this club into the ground due to sheer incompetence, and some will still blame Conway and Chien.
Totally agree apart from the Cole thing. Deserves everything he gets. He was absolutely pathetic last night and has been in general since January. Wouldn’t surprise me him rocking up at them next season to be honest.
