That won’t be our strike force next season. I would expect to see at least three new strikers come in. Dallas, Shaw and Watters need to be told to find new clubs.
I believe a lot of our current squad could make for decent League One players given the right circumstances and coaching. I’ve always thought the path to progress for us, in a sustainable way, is expanding the coaching team and bringing up through the academy.
Might not be a popular post but i really rate cosgrove . Thought he was excellent wen he came on at blackpool and made a difference on friday. Given a good run of games i think he would be ace
I'm the same mate. He's a massive nuisance and while he's lacking in finesse his goalscoring record over his career is more than decent. If used correctly I'm sure he'll hit double figures next season.
Interesting jalo has the best mpg ratio in league one above Cosgrove etc but hasn't started a game. I expect oli Shaw and Co will be moved on.
Aye!,he's a big lump and if he puts himself about more and we can get him a decent finisher to compliment him I reckon you could be right........sithi.
Marsh is similarly a nuisance from what I’ve seen. I think those two could possibly form an effective strike partnership
** Downside of long term contracts ** Do you mean payed up... Because it's impossible to get rid of any players under contract if they haven't got a better offer elsewhere and don't what to go..
Without sounding a dick, havent we only seen 1 cross from him in the league mate? He's definitely a handful and has surprised me why he hasn't had a run out more often
