Just like we did with Kitch? You must also know that installments is absolutely the norm when it comes to transfers. They're very rarely paid un front in a lump sum.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we’d take £2m to be honest. Not been anywhere near the same player this season but that’s most likely down to his illness. Someone is likely to get sold this summer and him and Phillips are the only ones with any value. Phillips is more important to us with his goals and assists.
I'd say that's true definitely not the same player as last season but he's not alone there. Is that down to coaching or illness.. I think we will be hoping for sell ons with the likes of helik, holgate and morris likely to move on.
If we can get 7 figures for him I’d be delighted. Despite him being one of the Ponte Ends golden boys I honestly can’t remember the last time he had a good game.
He very noticeably applauded the Bolton fans as well before he walked down the tunnel - I did think he might have been tapped up. There’s only him and Phillips still under contract in the squad likely to have any sale value - sadly I think one or both might have to be cashed in to stay solvent.
You do realise he played for Bolton as an 18 year old and was sold to Celtic when they were in financial disarray. Hence the mutual reaction.
Their forums have their little ladies' knickers in a twist about a stamp by Luca on Friday night. First I've read/seen about this - anyone know what it was & when?? They're calling for some kind of retrospective action taken.
Yea I did know that - but he was applauding them as though they’d given him a great reaction and I’m not sure they did. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back there.
It was when a Bolton player had wrapped his leg around his, he got it free but appeared to stamp on his leg don’t think it was intentional but could’ve been avoided
He applauded them DURING the game too, which is stupid. It was when he went to check on Cole when he was getting treatment in the penalty box.
It was highlighted by Sky so we got a couple of replays. It's worse than what McGeehan was retrospectively banned for.
