I think what would bring the fans more on board is if we could have some local business people on there who know the value of our club, I know we’ve the Crynes but feel local knowledge may help. That’s only my thoughts though and may be compete rubbish

So, you think they put extra money in last summer in order to sell Kitching for (reputedly) £5M ? I don't even begin to think the admin required to do that would be in place in a small business like BFC. And, maybe you, play "Football Manager", but I doubt any of our current owners go anywhere near it.

I see you’ve quoted me, but I’ve absolutely no idea why.

Rather like the Arab Prince that took over at Sheff U....paper wealth of £90 odd million...actual spending power £11/12m.

Some valid points but Current gang are subsiding us by a decent amount. Until we can find someone else willing to do that then they are the best people.

as for stretch. Maybe take a look at his Twitter likes? Could upset some?

More to the point, replaced by whom.
Pretty sure they'd want most of their outlay back. And which other sugar daddies are going to do that, and prop up the club. ?. I agree the philosophy has to change as lots of clubs in a better financial state, have had to cut their cloths. But still have funds to outbid us on a lot of players. They may have to release some on frees and bite the bullet on compensation.

Wanting your outlay back and getting it are very different. The price of a third tier club with minimal saleable assets and losing £5m pa is not determined by how much has previously been invested.

A perpetuity of -£5m with a discount rate of 5% would have a value of -£100m. It’s the future the owners need to be worried about. If the fortunes do not change they have saddled themselves with a financial albatross.

I wouldn't get rid of them at all. I'd add to them with non shareholder directors who can help.

Based on this you'd think they'd perhaps bring players in who know this league very well instead of a bunch of gambles

That ‘billionaire owners’ tag used to really annoy me. I often read other fans forums and have seen many a mention of us being bankrolled when we were doing well.

Doubt there is single person on this site who actually know how to run a football club, despite all the stuff we post.
