kettle calling pot, if I list all your comments I would take up pages. You sit in your armchair dude and pretend your a supporter, while I actually support my team https://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/blackpool-v-barnsley-mdt.329747/page-21#post-3277557

I've had a season ticket for 20 years consistently throughout it all, there's no armchair here. There's also nobody here judging people if they're choosing not to go to an away game thats on a tuesday night in hard times like these.
Allus makes me chuckle better fan syndrome. You dont have to go to away games to be a better fan. I'd suggest anyone who watches tarn be it season ticket holder or pay on the day is a fan. There are also those that can't attend for whatever reason. Eg. Affordability. Disability. Distance etc. Are they not fans. ?. There are admittedly some/those who appear to wish us to fail, who say until things alter they are not attending. But when things do change. alter the goalposts to suit. Met many. And it's not a new phenomenon. Allus been thus.. "They dunt want to go up" Yes they do. "Turned Paul Sykes darn" No they didn't. "I'd go if they got promoted" Didn't even in the premier.
Well said, this is the first season in a very long time that I haven’t been to an away match. This is for various reasons, financial not being one of them. Been a ST holder since Prem days but a paying fan long before then. Just my luck that in terms of away results it’s been the best season in a very long time, but at least I’ve been able to watch some of them through IFollow. Of course people are entitled to their opinions, and there will always be varying degrees of optimism and pessimism, and the impending argument of who is being the realist. I do know this though, if ever I felt the same about the club or the playing performances as some who post on here and other social platforms, I would stop going. It can’t be healthy for a start, and if it’s not enjoyable stop it. Do something else or support another team locally or otherwise.
My son and I will be there. Irrespective of how the game goes I really hope we make some noise and get behind the team - loud and proud and we show it.
I genuinely dont know how many or can hazard a guess will be there tomorrow. But of our lot 90+. Who got tickets prior to the 1st leg. Not one has backed out to the best of my knowledge. Most, if not all other independents are full or close to full. As are club coaches.
I've got to admit mate. The football definitely is the priority, But I allus enjoy the social side and banter with everyone. (Vast majority of our fanbase know one another). Including on occasion with opposition fans. And that's what a lot of others enjoy, makes up for a poor performance sometimes. I rarely lose sleep over results, I dont kick the cat, which is just as well as we dont have one. But am a nervous wreck at times during important games.
Yeah, I have missed the social side of having a ‘day out’ with people I only see on match days. Strangely, I don’t get anywhere near as nervous when I’m actually at the game, as when I’m watching on IFollow. I can’t listen to radio commentary, that’s just mental torture for me
