From the outside that seems like an absolutely mental decision. He got Hull - a team who were beaten 8-0 by Wigan a few years back on the way to being relegated to League 1 - to finish a gnat's phallus away from the Championship play offs. From the few games I saw they played good football and had some talented players whilst not spending loads - they went toe to toe with Ipswich the other day in a cracking game. Will never come to us though, there'll be bigger clubs than us that recognise his potential.

I’d love him at the club but we won’t be front of the queue and his payoff from hull would be reduced if he took work straight away. I’d expect him to have a bit of time off and get back in about Christmas time. Someone will snap him up I don’t doubt. Done a cracking job there, rebuilt from the bottom more or less.
