Impressed how he got our players up for the second half would’ve have been easier for heads to fully drop! I honestly wouldn’t mind him as coach next season but maybe too much to lose if went wrong

No he needs to be let go. The new man needs to be able to bring in his own people that aren't tainted by being part of the failed Collins regime. Good player and good club servant, but that shouldn't just mean we keep him forever.

Back to a number 2 most likely. Let’s hope he’s a good head coach in front of him again.

Need to keep him. Continuity and change necessary and he's Barnsley through and through. At least he won't be a snake as he doesn't want a managerial position.

Devaney shouldn't be punished for being willing to step up and help the club out/being gifted the poison chalice by the board that wanted to bring someone else in but failing to deliver.

He has lots of good qualities including loyalty, pride, passion, and motivation - get him teaching our players to cross like he used to, and dishing out b******ings when we're s***.

Can’t give him the job we was losing 2-1 and on aggregate 5-2 if he couldn’t get them up for that then what could he do !

we should judge him on that first leg at home not a second half nothing to lose performance- think about it. I like him me want him around the club but he’s no manager.

we have to be better and want better not want the least a guy who can get half a game out of the lads. That should be a at least we get. Not the best.

Come on tarn fans let’s want more.
