Accrington Stanley owner, who's Twitter feed is a great follow as he's totally unfiltered in his views.

Answering a question from a Macclesfield fan about their ownership situation, but actually breaking down the issues for ownership changes for pretty much every EFL club.

Some food for thought for those wanting our owners to go (for clarity, I'm not one of them) as to how you achieve this. This line is particularly pertinent, "If there isn’t an eager buyer, administration becomes the only way of finding a buyer."

Posted it as an image for the non-Twitter users.

And it was the Morecambe situation, not Macclesfield, he was replying to.

Some of our more cerebrally challenged supporters ought to think on about the administration thing being used to source a buyer, before they haunt out our current owners with their ‘constructive feedback’ on Twitter etc.

Who is going to buy Barnsley FC if it was touted for sale at full price?

It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever, how often things are explained to some people. They just refuse to even try to listen. 'Sell up', 'get out', 'no ambition', 'stripping the club', and of course the modern classic 'still pulling the strings'.

A multi-millionaire whos into football and needs a hobby, thats basically who a football club needs to be bought by, and even then the chance of success is slim.

Think a lot of the problem is younger fans watching premier league buying players for stupid amounts and can’t understand that we can’t do that and money doesn’t filter down through the leagues

Bolton who were in league two a couple of seasons ago?

And Derby County who have just taken two seasons to get out of league one with average crowds exceeding 27k after being relegated due to points deductions totalling 21?

I get your point given their success this season but I think you’d find their fans will tell you administration hurt their club massively.

And with the greatest of respect we aren’t Derby County - or even Bolton Wanderers. Administration might kill this club and even if not we’d take more than a couple of seasons to recover.
