Don’t need to offer him a new deal. He signed a 2yr deal with an option in our favour for a 3rd season.

A couple of lineups with players we'll have under contract for next year:

Happy to play the same formation
Centre back. 2/3 imo need to be the physically dominant centre halves we used to recruit so well. I assume our philosophy is still a pressing 3-5-2 or whatever you want to call it.
This will only be successful if we have centre backs that are confident enough to play high and win 90+% of balls which will enable us to press aswell as covering our weaknesses which imo is a lack of speed at left wing back and centre mid.

I offered a £50 charity bet that Cole wouldn't be sold in January if we were in the top 8. Someone took me up on it. No names no pack drill but they've not mentioned it since.
To be honest I wish we HAD sold him.

    True

Think both may re-sign in the absence of better offers. If not then Lofthouse/O’Keefe the default RB/RWB, and Earl to LB with De Gevigney coming in as replacement CB. Think Cadden probably not the best pick for LB in any case.

Definitely need more pace at the back to play a high line with three centre backs.

Lofthouse will play at a very good level one day.
He should have been playing this season for BFC

Killip Cadden Williams are all out of contract this summer and Sunderland may or may not make Styles loan move permanent. If not I feel the club will by trying hard to move him out (wages)

:D:D:D:DBloody hell. Forgot all about that! Can't believe I got that wrong. That's the second time I've been wrong about something since 1995 :p. Fair play. What's the charity of your choice mate?

Lol, I know you weren't trying to dodge it DT.
I've split it with you anyway. £25 each if that's OK. I put mine to the Irish Cancer Society but you give to your charity of choice. :)
