I've done a tiny bit of proofreading and know a few people. If you come up short elsewhere then I can try - I'm definitely not in the industry but might just about be able to put you in touch with somebody who might know somebody!

I’ve wrote several books and self published. Are you looking for a publisher of printed books?

Yes, I've just completed a set of 10 poems for children, I would need a publisher and an illustrator, I've talked to 2 publishers in London, but they're wanting anything from £1500 to £3000 up front.
I would ideally like to work with someone local to get my book in progress.

I hope you had someone proofread them with that grammar...

Pen & Sword Books / Wharncliffe Publishing is based in Barnsley (owned by the Barnsley Chronicle).

    What does … mean ;-)

Yeah i wouldn't use the forum / social media style for them of course. But i guess that applies to more than just the grammar.
