I like him and think he's a decent player plus his experience and leadership would be invaluable though he's very similar in style to what we've already got and unless we get rid of one of Connell, Russell or Benson then I can't see it happening (as well as the wages). I feel the priority in midfield is more physicality, pace and ball carrying.
He's just had three seasons of 30 odd matches each year in the Championship. One of the contenders in League One if not a lower end Championship club will take a punt on him. It would be great if we could replace Kane with him but Wrexham, Huddersfield, Birmingham, off the top of my head, will be paying more than us.
I’m waiting for the “if he’s unemployed he won’t be earning anything” response, which rather misses the point that he’s probably a millionaire already, and is unlikely to take a 10x pay cut just to get a club.
