On his Bio on Twitter he has taken off that he plays for Barnsley Alan Nixon says Derby are after him
What you been up to today Jay? Just the usual, checking the Facebook bios of all our players to see if anything has changed.
He's always come across as having an I'm a better player than I actually am attitude, I maybe wrong but that's the vibe he gives
Pretty obvious he never really liked the club anyway. Couldn't even be arsed to give an interview. All the best, Herbie. He'll be another that thinks the grass is greener.
Not a bad player on his day, it's a shame we are losing a player for nothing that is probably only just into his prime. I don't think he ever justified the amount we paid. Saying that I'm not sure what type of midfielder he is, you wouldn't say he is a creative playmaker or a combative central midfielder really.
He can do one too. I don't know whether its just me but I can't remember as many players being at the club who clearly don't give a 5 hit. Maybe it's the business model and the way we recruit them to be saleable assets and they feel like commodities.
Aye, they dont wanna be ere, but i'll tek yer money until i get snmmat better. Its life an its the way football is these days, not mi fav player but hes had a mixed season like the rest of the team good luck to him and i wish him all the best,
£1.25 million for someone who was effective about 50% of the time before Jan '24 and effective about 0% of the time after that.
Always thought he’d go to a championship side this summer. Will make a decent squad player. He was probably our best player in the first half of the season but struggled, like most, when the run in really mattered towards the end of the season. I know it can be about movement in front but he used to frustrate me with his passes back to our centre backs. He should’ve been good enough to make something happen going forward in this division. Only rumours about the fee we paid for him I suppose but if they are true, I’m not sure we’ve got loads of value for money with this one.
He is a good player, no doubt, but has always been handicapped by his belief that he's a great player. Another one I'd like to see lose the attitude, work hard and knuckle down to improving himself.
As someone once said: “If he was half as good as he think he is, he’d be bang average.” Liked his goal at Orient though.
Kane will be one of the first to officially leave. Derby have been after him since they got into top two. It’ll be Cole and Williams now as the latter has a decision to make as his prospective move wasn’t as attractive as it once was. Might change if Duff gets appointed at Huddersfield. On Devante, he’ll be watching the League 1 final with interest.
