I suspect they were hoping to announce Thalhammer was taking over the reins before they realised he might not get a work permit which blew that announcement out of the water.

They are probably editing the welcome interviews with the new CEO and DOF

Obviously we don’t know for sure, but reading between the lines they went for Hammer and had no Plan B, so are now back to the drawing board and taking their time. Taking the emotion out of it, there’s absolutely no point rushing to bring someone in now. Williamson’s style and defensive record worries me. Feels more and more like sacking Collins was an act of desperation. Certainly not calculated.

My fear is that, just like last season, we'll be signing players with no input from a Head Coach because we haven't appointed one.

    That's not new to us.

Well if there’s no rush then they need to announce another extension to the early bird ST offer. As things stand not many who are undecided will be parting with their cash.

I’m not regardless now. Been proven time and time again there’s no coherent forecasting or planning at the club no reason there’s going to change now.

Nah. There’s been one extension already. Supporters should support the Club, not the manager.

They have gone on holiday. Things like an update in the coming days, appointing a new head coach and telling us what the retained list is can all wait.

Nope everything should be working in sync. We aren’t and will never be with our current owners. It’s all react rather being proactive. I’m not going to support club officials that are subpar.

They've inherited their wealth from family members. There's nothing in any of their CV's that say they can competently run an enterprise of the nature of our football club except that they were gifted the capital to do so by relatives. The one thing i will give them is that they've appointed a football secretary with a track record who should be competent.

Sormaz is a technical analyst by trade, which is a brilliant skillset for the role but lets see if he possesses the necessary leadership and soft skills for the role he's been put in. It's a stretch but at least he has some sort of relevant track record.

That’s fine. Entirely your choice if you want to support the Club or not.

Would support them if I thought their views matched ours. Yet clearly they don’t.

With all due respect, you mean ‘yours’ not ‘ours’. Not all views can be matched. Physically impossible. They have invested +£10m in the Club. More than you or I will invest in our lifetime.
