Tell him to f*** off if he comes for any player under contract. We had enough hollowing out when Val left.
I liked Duff, thought his values and character aligned with those of the club, and thought we had real team commitment under him. He thought different.
Knew we wunt get him, in a way not reight bothered but then again gutted at the same time, Good Luck an all the best.
I agree with most of that, except the “we all moan”. I’m not moaning, and I don’t think I’m alone with this thought on the BBS. I’m also not frustrated, and again I don’t believe I’m alone here. Our season is now over (except for the youngens and the incredible Ladies), but the season itself is not over. I don’t like leaving things late, but we’re nowhere near that point yet.
Huddersfield have had 4 different people in charge this season, rumours the players weren’t fit or trying even. Making a loss having to cut wages and spending, delusional fans- so not unlike Swansea in that regard.
Agree. Paid some compo out for managers too. It could t!ts up at Hudds if they’re not careful. Still think they sign a raft of our old players though…..
Looks like we are in for a very uninspiring new manager then. Who is their potentially available for us to go for? Mike Williamson Grant Mccann Paul Heckingbottom Gareth Ainsworth Michael Beale Damian Duff
His comments sound to me like he's moving up here, with him mentioning a place of belonging. Could be wrong.
Or they are seen as successful business people with one of the owners being appointed to a FIFA committee
He’s probably saying that as that’s what the owner wants to hear; he can rent somewhere easily enough can’t he? He talks a good game but talk is cheap.
Funnily enough, he mentions ‘commitment’ in his first interview since taking over at Town. It’s all a game really isn’t it? Just another incoming manager saying the right things, knowing full well no bugger stays anywhere for very long and when he leaves it’ll be because he’s jumped ship or not been good enough. Either way he’ll be unpopular.
