    From my time living there I'd have to say that they get a lot right in Sweden. I think they're spot on with this too.

    What happens when they play in European matches do they have to use it at home etc?

    The structure of English football doesn't encourage fan participation like that so sadly there's no chance of it happening here. The are a few such fan based clubs but they are in the lower leagues with zero influence on the FA, PL or the EFL and the money based nature of the game will prevent them getting anywhere near having any influence. Basically we get what we are given with absolutely no say in it whatsoever; if the powers that be want VAR, we will get VAR. If anything I can see it being pushed down into The Championship within a few years and eventually to the rest of the EFL. The fact that they imposed it on the playoffs for competitions that didn't use it (Championship, League1 and League 2) makes zero sense to me.
