Bloody Hell. Judging by the outrage on here there must have been thousands wanting to watch this game.
It's basically been filmed off someone's phone at pitch level. At least go further up the west stand for some better context.
I can be outraged for myself and the lasses playing. There were over 230 watching it within moments of when it first went live after saying it was cancelled though, which to say it had been so badly communicated and terribly filmed means it could easily have been a thousand people who did want to watch it but were put off. Even if it was just myself though, I’d still be annoyed and express that, as I’m sure you do about things that annoy you without waiting for the tally of other people being annoyed reaching the thousands before you show feelings.
I'm not, and never have been, registered on Facebook but I could still watch the stream that was linked above.
I was just able to close that. Not having a go, by the way, just exploring our options for the next time Newsbot doesn't come through for us.
I planned to go tonight but due to a medical condition was unable to so was looking forward to watching it on YouTube. I'd even convinced a Rotherham fan to watch it too.
I had it ready to watch on youtube after the announcement, but I'm at work so can't go chasing around to find it after it's already kicked off. I reckon you've got to start people watching somewhere, and this was a good opportunity which they've fumbled. Not a huge issue in the scheme of things, but certainly the kind of basic thing which you'd expect a professional operation to get right.
