A draw would have been fair as neither really deserved the loss. But what a freak Usyk is. Unbelievable boxer, one of the best to ever grace the ring
How did someone have Fury the winner? The 115-112 judge had it about right. The most glamouress weight category now has a charismaless undisputed champion. Fury hasn't looked the same in his last few fights. He won't be he should step aside and let the reborn AJ have his trilogy.
Wish he’d keep his gob shut at the end though. Poor show saying he thought the judges got it wrong. It was very close.
Tasteless comment around judges favouring the fighter who's country is at war. I don't mind him believing he won as it was so close but that comment is tasteless
Ended up seeing the fight, the Mrs found someone streaming on social media (naughty naughty). I had it 115-112 Usyk. When the second judge had it 114-113 Fury I fully expected the third judge to have it 114-114. Usyk won the fight to my eye though. Suspect we’ll get a second fight arranged - but I also think Fury might descend into his own mind again sadly. Fear for him. Not sure he’ll cope.
Usyk was the clear winner for me. Thought Fury was going to be be gracious in defeat, but that lasted about 5 seconds.
If that’s your takeaway from that fight then I actually feel sorry for you. Also, you’re the most wrong anyone’s ever been about anything. Ever.
The first 8 rounds I said 4-4. Usyk won the 9th by 2 points and 2 of the last 3. Very tasteless of Tyson to put his defeat down to the war.
Slava Ukraini. How Fury, his corner and one of the scorers thought Fury won that fight is beyond me. Showing his true colours once again, with his post-fight comments. I think Usyk wins the rematch too. Absolute machine.
I personally think it was the near KO that won him the fight. That aside it was near impossible to split but that was the big difference for me anyway
You're obviously new to boxing...don't believe the Sky hype that says these are great fighters....they would have been undercard in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
