Klopp - Is it Just me

That thinks he’s a complete arse? I’ve never much liked him but by announcing that he was leaving so early on turned this into the Jurgen Klopp season and buggered Liverpool’s season up at the same time.

 

I like him. I disagree with a lot of his football opinions especially about FA cup replays etc but as a human being and football manager getting his team to play attacking exciting football I think he deserves the plaudits.

 

Yeah but why couldn’t he have announced his leaving until just before or even after the end of the season? He’s become the main event at Anfield rather than Liverpool

He's not a PL legend, he's a Liverpool one for pulling the club out of the doldrums.
I have no problem him announcing his departure early; we don't know how much it would have impacted the team if he'd have carried on with his internal torment. Best get it all out, and he did.

I love him. The passion he has for the game. I like to think he is one of us. Lives every kick , breathes every kick. The premier league or whats left of it will be a less colouful place without him. Just an opinion mind.

 

I think the man is a mardy tit but this is largely underplaying the role he's had in rebuilding Liverpool. They hadn't won the league in 30 years and the champions league since 2005 before he came in. If it wasn't for a generational team in Man city he would've won more titles.

He also brought in players like Salah, Mane, Wijnaldum, Robertson, Van Dijk and Alisson and took them to the next level.

He's a great manager and could be the 2nd best/most influential manager Liverpools ever had (after Shankly) but he is a mardy, hypocritical git who only gets away with half the stuff he does because he has a smile on his face.

People are always quick to pull orders down. He’s a good manager who has done well, and imo done in the right manner.

I'd also put forward that Dalglish is above Klopp in the Liverpool manager stakes. Klopp on a par with Fagan.

Klopp came in and started with a blank canvas pretty much

 

Never liked him. Over rated, verbally abusive angry man, who rarely accepts defeat graciously and instead has a list of excuses.
But he hugs his players.

 

Still needed to maintain it and build a side to continue. Signed McMahon, Barnes, Beardsley, Houghton and Aldridge, all which were key in keeping them at the top.

Man U managers since Fergie have shown it's not that easy to takeover after a successful period and maintain it.
